We have made it our mission to develop free-to-use open source software for the public sector.
For years, digitalisation has been the buzz word when it comes to simplifying processes and increasing efficiency. However, in our opinion, things cannot continue as they are at the moment.
We are striving to take digitalisation in Germany to a new level - away from expensive, individual solutions and towards jointly developed systems that are accessible to everyone. We are initially focussing on the public sector.
We want to set a new standard with our software. Our software products are 100% free of charge. KommCore does not make any profits and will make all cash flows completely public in the future.
Our goal is to promote a sustainable and fair digitalisation that is not driven by the pursuit of profit, but by the desire to improve society.
The tech stack is in place and preparations for our ‘architecture test run’ are in full swing. With the basis for the upcoming large projects, we will implement a compact ITSM system to go through all scenarios once. Work on a generic starting point for this and the following projects is ongoing and making good progress.
This project template, which will of course also be published, includes a Svelte frontend and a Go backend with internal event pipelines, authentication, authorisation, notifications, REST services and extensive configuration options.
